Culture: London becomes the world’s leading tourist city ahead of Paris in 2014

More than 16 million tourists visited London this year, overtaking Paris.

Paris was previously the world’s most visited cities.

The number of foreign visitors jumped by 11% in the first nine months of the year in London, reaching nearly 25 million people.

The Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau is preparing its response to London’s entry into the No. 1 spot.
